Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses onto me me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
What does $10 mean to you?
We had a mission conference here last month and I got to spend some time getting to know some amazing people who are serving God. We were challenged during the mission conference to pray about giving. We learned that there are 3 ways to get the funds to give. God may increase your income, God may decrease your expenses, or God may lead you to where you can make sacrifices. After the conference we were challenged to commit to give $10 extra a month to missions. Faith based giving. So, what does $10 mean to me? I prayed and the answer was so clear. I eat out for breakfast about 8 times a month. By not having coffee with my breakfast I have well over $10 extra a month! Can I truly call going without that coffee a sacrifice? No it is truly not even an inconvenience. $10 a month to help someone, $10 a month to show someone they are loved, $10 a month can make all the difference eternally for someone. Can I challenge you? What can you give up or cut back on in your life to make a difference for someone else. Remember your Jerusalem, Judaea and Samaria, but don’t forget the uttermost parts of the earth.
You are Loved.
